An independent local family business established in Stratford-upon-Avon. Wag & Woof is dedicated to being "All About Dogs!" This initiative stems from our profound love and passion for the dogs we hold dear. As busy dog owners, we frequently encountered difficulties in finding healthy alternatives, often needing to scrutinise labels for ingredient quality and meat content. Our mission is to provide you with the highest quality foods, showcasing premium meat content and natural treats available in our store. We are certain that you'll discover options for your dog that are devoid of harmful additives, fostering healthier choices and a safe way to treat your furry companion to something tasty. Our journey began in 2018 when we adopted our first dog, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named ‘JJ’. Having never experienced pet ownership before, this was a completely new adventure for us. From the moment JJ became part of our family, our lives transformed for the better.

JJ was a cheerful, spirited, and loving companion who constantly aimed to bring us joy and share in exciting experiences. He was adopted from Birmingham Dogs Home, which motivated me to support the charity and give back to the community. I was lucky enough to be selected for a position on the board and became a Trustee. This experience has been the most rewarding work I have ever done, and we couldn't resist adopting a companion for JJ, so Axl-Rose joined our pack.

Axl-Rose, a spirited puppy with boundless energy and an infectious zest for life, quickly made himself at home. The two dogs formed an instant bond, becoming inseparable companions who shared countless adventures and playful antics. Watching JJ and Axl-Rose together brought immense joy to our lives.

Nonetheless, JJ sometimes faced difficulties due to a sensitive stomach, leading to multiple visits to the vet. This issue became a persistent challenge, creating a vicious cycle and seeing my boy suffer. Despite these hurdles, JJ's resilience and spirit shone brightly, inspiring us to seek solutions and support. We experimented with different diets, sought guidance, and made adjustments to his meals. Through it all, JJ's loyalty never wavered; his wagging tail and eager eyes were constant reminders of the unconditional love he brought into our lives.

Our experiences with JJ and Axl-Rose imparted profound lessons about compassion, patience, and the connection between humans and animals. They also inspired me to become more involved with Birmingham Dogs Home, advocating for improved care and resources for pets facing similar health challenges. This newfound passion ultimately drove me to transition from my career in the legal field to pursue what I absolutely love.

In October 2022, I founded Wag & Woof with the goal of providing dog owners with the highest quality foods. We focus on premium meat content and natural treats that are free from harmful additives, promoting healthier options for pets.

Although we had to say goodbye to JJ in February 2024, his legacy, along with Axl-Rose continue to influence my life, driving my passion for animal welfare and community involvement.
